This evolved business of Nav Bharat, what it is today, was the brain child of an industrious & a humble man Shri Madan Lal ji born in 1920, was a young visionary, a leader and a pioneer, who began his journey in the world of food grains business in the late 1930’s in Lahore. However, he took the challenges of destiny in the year 1947 when India – Pakistan faced division of nations, he came to Delhi, re-establish the same business in the Khari Baoli area of Old Delhi, under the name and style M/s “Raja Ram Madan Lal”, having main grocery business including Rice. With further additions in it, he founded another Company in 1963 under the name and style M/s “Nav Bharat Trading Co.” based in Naya Bazar Delhi focussing on its core competencies in Rice & Corn Trading. With the inception of Nav Bharat Trading Company, the group began its commercial operations of agro commodities serving Indian markets.

It is in early 1980’s, saw tremendous potential in export of rice from India, the group forayed into Rice export business through wholly owned subsidiaries M/s “Nav Bharat Enterprises” & M/s “Nav Bharat Exports”.

On the 13th February 2004, by the conversion of partnership firm – M/s Nav Bharat Exports under the companies act 1956, amalgamated into Nav Bharat International Ltd. The saga of Nav Bharat International Ltd emergence is really intriguing & breathtaking, the combined existence & experience of all the erstwhile firms put together.

Rudram Inc.  has state of the art technology for manufacturing its wide range of rice product portfolio. To produce the finest grain of rice, company has best machinery from Buhler (Germany), Satake (Japan), Sortex (UK), Caterday (USA), Cimbria (Denmark) and Daewoo (Korea) installed at different stages of production from paddy to final rice.

Paddy is dried at controlled temperatures using high capacity dryers ensuring preservation of natural characteristics of grain both in Raw & Parboiled forms, maintaining the consistency in grain size without breaking them. Company uses processed soft water obtained from water treatment plant for the production of parboiled rice, in order to have hygienic product completely free from any kind of obnoxious smell.

Milling Plants are well equipped with [unclear] cleaners, Destoners, Precision Sizers, De-huskers, Paddy separators, Polishers, Fine cleaners, Magnetic separators, Length Graders and finally Color Sorters to obtain uniform final rice grains for onward packing in different packaging formats.

In addition as a perfect blend of backward integration, company originates high quality Selected Basmati paddy seeds for rice, for further distribution to Indian Farmers as a move to improve the quality of rice from farm itself. It has undergone Contract and Organic Farming of Basmati on back to back agreements with farmers.

The company has a full fledged R&D facility where the latest machines and equipments are made available to the finest brains in food technology to come up with world class products. Its in house Physical & Microbiological laboratory testing facilities are fully equipped with latest instruments from Satake & Kett for testing agro commodities.
